Keychains depicting popular PlayStation games from the PS3 and PS4 era will appear in Bandai Namco Gashapon machines in late October 2025. Each attempt will cost 300 JPY (around $2). As the company does maintain capsule machines in North America as well, we could end up seeing these worldwide eventually.
While the website and the poster don’t list the dimensions for each keychain, they are pretty small. You can even open them up and take out a miniature disc. The inner jacket of each game is also faithfully depicted, though you likely won’t be able to take it out and read through it. In total, there are eight possible prizes to get. Among those eight is a rare secret one.
As for the possible games you can get, there are four PS3 titles and three PS4 titles recreated as keychains. So the secret one is likely a PS4 game. You can get either the Uncharted mainline games or The Last of Us. Though these games are technically available on platforms like the PC, they’re major Sony (PlayStation) exclusives that have seem booming success worldwide. It’s unknown if the eighth secret keychain will be yet another game in either Naughty Dog series, or if it will be another Sony exclusive such as Infamous.
Here’s a closer look at the full advertisement for the items:

This isn’t Bandai Namco’s first foray into creating PlayStation-themed accessories. Earlier this year, in September 2025, it announced keychains that resemble PS and PS2 consoles, controllers, and memory cards. These will come out in February 2026 (after the PS3 and PS4 keychains), and will be available in blind box format rather than in Gashapon machines, though.
The PS3 and PS4 Gashapon keychains will appear in machines around Japan some time during the fourth week of October 2025. It is unknown when they might appear worldwide.
