As a reminder, Episode 6 is a rather weighty update. The Scions’ Etoile and Phantom classes will be available. People will be able to have the evolved Synchro, Vulcan, and evolved Redran, Herbie, as a pet. You’ll have new quests you can take, new Ultra enemies and Luminmech will be itching to fight you, and you’ll face the Goddess of Annihilation Shiva and Final Armada.

With this episode’s debut, Sega will make good on a promise it back in June 2020. It said it would have the global version of PSO2 catch up and have “eight years’ worth of content” out this year. It managed to make good on the roadmap, even with recent events delaying other games.

As for a quick peek, here are what the Etoile and Phantom look like in PSO2 Episode 6.

Phantasy Star Online 2 is available on the Xbox One and PC worldwide. It is also playable on the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 in Japan. The PSO2 Episode 6 update will arrive on December 9, 2020.
