PSP GPS unit and camera details

For 5,000 yen ($42) you can get the PSP camera, which takes still photos and AVI movies straight on the memory stick. The resolution of the camera is 480×272 (PSP screen size) or 640×480 pixels. The GPS receiver sells for 6,000 yen ($51) and it comes with no additional software in the package. Can these two new tools open the doors for new PSP exclusive software? Sony thinks so. They already have navigation software (temporary name), Homestar (Sega’s planetarium simulator) and Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops supporting the GPS unit.
