Psyvariar Delta’s First Trailer Shows Off The Classic Buzz Mechanic In Action

Psyvariar Delta’s first trailer was released yesterday, and it shows off gameplay from the classic arcade game, including the series’ classic ‘Buzz’ mechanic.   Psyvariar works off a level up system where the player’s ship can become stronger and change forms by defeating enemies or going and ‘scratching’ enemy bullets (called a Buzz). This means that players have a risk vs reward option instead of just safely dodging bullets, and there are several hidden stages that are actually locked behind level requirements.   Here’s the trailer below:   Psyvariar Delta will be available for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.
