Puyo Puyo Tetris Mod Makes Sonic The Hedgehog A Playable Character

Fans of Dr. Robotnik’s Mean Bean Machine will be able to enjoy a bit of that in the PC version of Puyo Puyo Tetris. A new character mod has been released that brings Sonic the Hedgehog into the fray. Tracker TD has released a skin that takes out Risukuma and puts Sonic in his place.

The Sonic the Hedgehog mod for Puyo Puyo Tetris adds a number of elements to the game. You can now see Sonic in the menu and select him. As you play through matches, cut-in animations will appear, just as they would for any other character. There are also two voice banks for him if you have the game set to English voice acting, so you can have Sonic voiced by Roger Craig Smith or Ryan Drummond. (The alternate voice bank retains the Risukuma label.

Puyo Puyo Tetris is available for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and PC.
