GungHo announced in the latest issue of CoroCoro Comic that their upcoming Nintendo Switch title Puzzle & Dragons Gold will release in Japan in January 2020. We haven’t heard too much about the game but you can check out a bit in the above announcement trailer from July. The game will follow up previous Puzzle & Dragons games that released outside of smartphones with Puzzle & Dragons Z, Puzzle & Dragons: Super Mario Bros. Edition, and Puzzle & Dragons X for Nintendo 3DS. In Puzzle & Dragons Gold we’ll see a two-person battle format and a story mode featuring Taiga Akaishi as the protagonist. Puzzle & Dragons Gold releases for Nintendo Switch in Japan in January 2020.
