Quintessential Quintuplets Characters Dress as Pirates for New Items

Anime merchandise company Animo is releasing several tote bags, shoulder bags, and keychains featuring The Quintessential Quintuplets characters dressed as pirates. The products will be available for pre-order for a limited time from September 16, 2021, to September 25, 2021, releasing sometime in the following October. [Thanks, PR Times!]

The new pirate-themed merchandise features all five Quintessential Quintuplet characters dressed in pirate garb, carrying swords, spyglasses, and treasure chests. The shoulder bags are designed by Japanese anime fashion brand Granup. The company has also created merchandise for Tokyo Revengers and the Fate series.

Shoulder bags come in two varieties, with each priced at ¥1,650 (about $15). Both include all five characters in their respective poses either surrounded by either blue or brown background. The tote bags are made of canvas material with the sisters in single color print of the same design. The tote bags come in either light blue or pink, and will both cost ¥1,980 (about $18).

Furthermore, the keyholders are made of acrylic and feature each sister individually. There will be a total of five keyholders to choose from, and each will cost ¥1,650 (about $15).

Finally, there is also a box set of eight B5-size plastic sheets commonly used to prevent the tearing of paper when writing or drawing. Similarly, these sheets will showcase each character individually as well as together in the pirate-themed series’ design. The box set will cost Â¥4,400 (about $40).

The Quintessential Quintuplets pirates items are immediately available for pre-order via the Animo online store in Japan. Pre-orders will last until September 25, 2021, with prices starting from ¥1,650.
