SideQuest Studios has announced that it’ll be bringing its fantasy RPG Rainbow Skies to PlayStation 4 in the second half of 2016. It will have cross-save support with the previously announced for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita versions.

But that’s not all. SideQuest is also re-releasing Rainbow Moon – the game to which Rainbow Skies is a sequel – on PlayStation 4 next year.

The studio also revealed that it’s been working hard on ensuring that Rainbow Skies has an increased emphasis on storytelling. As such, it has a dedicated story and script writer, but also the monologue system of Rainbow Moon has been upgraded to a dialogue system that allows four characters to speak simultaneously.

On top of that there are new animations, emoticons, and conversation-specific icons. Plus, the game has short cutscenes known as “action clips” that explain situations or introduce new game elements at certain checkpoints.
