Square Enix has revealed a new lineup of NieR: Automata merchandise designed by Raita Kazama that it will sell as part of the game’s 9th anniversary celebrations. The company will release the items in late August 2026.
Most of the entries in this lineup consist of acrylic items, apart from the A4-sized clear files that are available as a 3-in-1 set for ¥1,650 (~$10.35). The collection primarily features acrylic keychains and stand dioramas priced at ¥1,320 (~$8.30) and ¥3,960 (~$24.90), respectively. Each item category will feature three separate versions focusing on the game’s main characters: 2B, 9S, and A2.

Pre-orders for the items are available via Square Enix’s Japanese e-Store for people residing in Japan. AmiAmi is also offering the same lineup with discounted prices and international shipping support.
While Raita Kazama has been well-known for his works in the Xenoblade Chronicles series, this is not the first time he has provided his own rendition of NieR: Automata characters. The artist had previously drawn a version of A2 when she appeared as a crossover guest character for Star Ocean: Anamnesis in 2018.
The 9th anniversary of NieR: Automata falls in 2026, based on the initial release in Japan for PlayStation 4 on February 23, 2017. Square Enix has since gradually brought the game to PC, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
