The trailer for Ranma 1/2 season 2 seems to begin with Ranma Saotome confessing his love to Akane Tendo, but it turns out they are practicing for their roles in the Romeo and Juliet school play. From there, we see that he’s still being pursued by a number of people, like Shampoo and Ukyo Kuonji. There are also plenty of fights, with some involving the young women and others featuring Ryoga Hibiki, Mousse, and Hikaru Gosunkugi. Just like in the original series, Ukyo is the final possible love interest for Ranma to show up.

Here’s that full season 2 trailer with English subtitles.

You can see the key art for this season below. At the center are Akane and Ranma as Juliet and Romeo. On the sides are the girl version of Ranma and Shampoo in maid costumes. On the left, characters like Tatewaki Kuno, Ukyo, and Hikaru showed up, while Mousse and Cologne are on the right above Ryoga. Genma Saotome, in his panda form, is at the back holding the “season 2” sign.

Ranma 1/2 season 2 will be available to stream on Netflix starting on October 4, 2025, and the first season of the anime remake is already on the service. Viz Media handled the manga outside Japan.
