Rare LittleBigPlanet DLC Costs Big Bucks

The Sephiroth and Old Snake Sackboy outfits cost $1.99 each, which isn’t too bad since there may be licensing fees involved. In comparison to this Rare T-shirt the premium outfits seem like a bargain. Sony is selling this piece of downloadable content for 500 yen ($5) in Japan. Seriously? $5 for a virtual T-shirt? That’s nearly the price of a downloadable PsOne game there! Sony Computer Entertainment America hasn’t set a price for this yet leaving it marked with “$?.??” and since downloadable content is region locked gamers in Japan have to pony up 500 yen if they want this shirt. Given the premium price it’s going to be rare to see a Sackboy LiBits wear one of these.
