Blaze Entertainment announced another Evercade cartridge-compatible Super Pocket handheld gaming system, and it’s a Rare variant that includes Banjo-Kazooie as a built-in game. It will cost $69.99/£49.99/€59.99, and it will appear worldwide in June 2026. Many titles from the Evercade Rare Collection cartridge will also be included.
There will be 12 games total on the Rare Super Pocket handheld, with Banjo-Kazooie and Slalom being two that weren’t in the first Evercade cartridge of games from the developer. Here’s the full list of what you get on the system:
- Atic Atac
- Banjo Kazooie
- Battletoads
- Battletoads in Battlemaniacs
- Cobra Triangle
- Conker’s Pocket Tales
- Gunfright
- Jetpac
- Knight Lore
- Lunar Jetman
- R.C. Pro-am II
- Slalom
- Snake, Rattle ’n’ Roll
- Solar Jetman
As a note, Battletoads Arcade, Sabre Wulf, and Underwurlde from the first Evercade collection from the developer aren’t present on here. That cartridge with the extra titles is available for $29.99.
There’s also a dedicated trailer that shows how this version of the handheld looks. It features a red front and blue back. There’s also the Rare logo at the very bottom. At the end, there’s a brief scene that shows Banjo playing this gaming handheld while Kazooie watches, instead of him playing a Game Boy.
The Super Pocket Rare Edition Evercade handheld, with Banjo-Kazooie as a featured title, launches in June 2026.
