Rare Talks About Sea Of Thieves’ Xbox One X Optimizations

Recommended Videos

Rare’s next game is Sea of Thieves, a cooperative and competitive game about being a pirate, for the Xbox One and PC. When it does launch, it will support the Xbox One X. In the latest behind the scenes video for the game, members of the development team talk about what’s going on with the optimized version of Sea of Thieves, the process of getting it on the other version of the system, and how it is different.

To start, it only took Rare about 30 minutes to get something running. No special infrastructure was needed, so the Xbox One build could be used. It will be a full 4K game with high resolution textures and be on par with ultra spec PC settings.

Sea of Thieves will come to the Xbox One and PC in 2018.
