Rayforce Locks On For iPhone Release [Update]

Taito is bringing Rayforce from (dusty) arcade (basements) to iPhone. Their 1993 shooter has been updated with touch screen controls and auto fire so you can slide your finger and blast away. Press manual and you can target ships with lock on lasers.

 

Rayforce for iOS has two screen modes. One preserves the original aspect ratio and the other has been redesigned for to take up the device’s full screen. Rayforce supports Game Center for players that want to compete for the worldwide top score.

 

Rayforce comes out on January 13 for 1,000 yen. Update: In the US, Rayforce is $12.
