Yesterday, the Rayman Legends Definitive Edition leaked onto the European Nintendo eShop. It was accompanied by information suggesting a September 12, 2017 release date. Now, both the September 12, 2017 launch date and demo have been confirmed by Nintendo via Twitter.

The Rayman Legends Definitive Edition demo is not available via the eShop again yet. However, Nintendo did confirm that the trial will be released in Summer 2017. The leaked version of the demo has Teensies in Trouble, Toad Story, Castle Rock, Murfy’s Touch (which requires the Nintendo Switch to be in Handheld Mode), and Kung Foot samples.

Rayman Legends Definitive Edition has a number of new features. Kung Foot will have a solo mode, local multiplayer for people who connect two Switches, and an up-to-eight player Tournament Mode. The main game will have optional touch controls in Handheld mode. There will also be challenges players can complete.

Rayman Legends is immediately available on the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Nintendo Wii U, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC.
