Real Delicious in Dungeon Cola Will Be Released

MotoCola announced the release of a craft cola beverage inspired by the mandrake monster of Delicious in Dungeon, or Dungeon Meshi. The new MandraCola drink costs 2,980 yen (or about $19.45) and is now available from the MotoCola online store. [Thanks, PR Times!]

The MandraCola is a beverage made using the extract of a monster known as mandrake, or mandragora, and it is said to contain the equivalent mana energy of 1,000 lemons. In reality, this craft cola drink is made using lemon juice, lemon rinds, and cane sugar as its main ingredients, as well as adding orange pulp, ginger, cloves, cardamom, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla bean, and bamboo charcoal in smaller quantities. The MandraCola is expected to ship around mid-May 2024.

The MotoCola website mentions that the drink can be cola can be consumed by itself, or mixed sparkling water, hot water, or even milk or yogurt. The bottle of the new Delicious in Dungeon craft cola beverage includes a label featuring Marcille in the center, as well as the MandraCola name underneath her. Marcille is also surrounded by 16-bit pixel art depictions of Laios, Marcille herself, Senshi, Chilchuck, Izutsumi, and Falin, as well as a Walking Mushroom, a Huge Scorpion, and a Slime monster. The bottle is sealed with a dark turquoise wrapper, imitating a wax seal.
