Even in the cold of winter, some people want the sound of engines firing up. That’s why Gran Turismo 6 fans have gotten a quick Christmas update with two new Red Bull cars for the PlayStation 3 title. Red Bull has added the ‘Red Bull Racing Kart’ and ‘Red Bull X2014 Junior’ cars to the game gratis (You’ll still need to pick up the cars within the in-game dealership) for players to race around the track in.

The modeled cars were done in collaboration with Infiniti Red Bull Racing’s Chief Technical Officer Adrian Newey, and the collaboration between developers Polyphony Digital and Red Bull was to help mark the franchise’s 15th anniversary.

A later update will add two more of Red Bull’s cars, the ‘Red Bull X2014 Standard’ and ‘Red Bull X2014 Fan’ variants.

Gran Turismo 6 is out now for PlayStation 3.
