Red Bull rhythm and isometric breakdancing

redbull.jpgWhen I think of breakdancing I think of footwork not geometric shapes. However, until Konami makes Breakdance Revolution every game about B-Boys and B-Girls boils down to timed button presses. Playlogic’s game SPONSORED BY RED BULL goes for a different approach. With the help of the touch screen players trace lines vaguely in the shape of power moves.

Want to straddle your legs? Draw a triangle. Toprock is reduced to a series of parallelograms, yo. Breakdance theme aside, Red Bull BC One has some unique concepts when it comes to developing a music/rhythm game. Now, if Smackdown would stop acting so “hip” with the iPod models and Red Bull promotion we might have an evolution of Ouendan when this comes out in the summer.

Speaking of breakdancing video games B-Boy for the PlayStation 2 and PSP appears to be very real.
