Red Bull working on a game?!

Yes it’s true the energy drink creator is working on a game based on breakdancing. The game idea initially came from Red Bull’s BC One Event and the increasing popularity of breakdancing. The game has two b-boys face off in an arena and pull off dance tricks like freezes, swipes and headspins. The game is being developed by the South Korean developer Binary Craft. One of their past projects was XTango was a 3D rendered ballroom dancing game. Instead of being a music/rhythm title or a power pad stomper, XTango had players make steps out of button combinations. The first player would start off and the second player would follow the first player’s inputs. This game could be interesting as long as it balances footwork with power moves and doesn’t have one button assigned to a flare-airtrack-windmill combo. Look for it in 2007.
