Yet another FFVII Ever Crisis trailer and art dump appeared, and this time the star is Red XIII. The character is a sentient animal that Cloud and the party first encounters in the Shinra building in Professor Hojo’s lab. After meeting him, Red XIII joins the team on their journey. The latest announcements show how he looks in game via both official art and a teaser. First, here’s the Red XIII art. The initial image is his character portrait from dialogue segments. The second one shows his in-battle character model. Finally, there’s the 3D “chibi” model that shows up during stages.

Next, here’s the Red XIII trailer. It begins with his quote, “I am what you see.” After that, we see him meeting Cloud, Barret, Aerith, and Tifa in Hojo’s lab. The in-battle segment comes up at the end and shows him performing an attack.

This is part of a series of new FFVII Ever Crisis trailers. Each one’s shown off one of the major characters in the game. So far, the focus has been on people who appear in the original game and not spin-offs like Crisis Core FFVII Reunion. Here’s the list of past videos, in case you missed some of them. With Red XIII’s debut, every main character from FFVII Remake showed up.
Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis is in development for Android and iOS devices, and we should see it launch later in 2023.
