Oh Sega Saturn. It was a shame that your lifespan was a bit short compared to your competition, but I would be a fool to completely ignore the brilliant games you’ve managed to house! Games like Guardian Heroes, Shining Force III, Panzer Dragoon, Panzer Dragoon Zwei, Panzer Dragoon Saga, Virtua Fighter 2, Virtua Cop 2, Clockwork Knight (yes this game was awesome), Shining The Holy Ark, Burning Rangers, NiGHTs, and so on and so forth. It’s a good thing your import brother had some life left in him which gave importers a reason to either import a JPN Sega Saturn or purchase that super cool St. Key that allowed JPN games to play on U.S./EU Sega Saturn consoles. After all, with that 4MB cartridge your brother had, fighting games like X-Men vs. Street Fighter, Marvel vs. Street Fighter, and Samurai Showdown 4 were a joy to play! Let’s not forget the awesome shmup that was Radiant Silvergun!
In honor of your brilliance, I present to you Segata Sanshiro, the marketing mascot of Sega Saturn JPN, who made out with an unconscious woman (while performing CPR) and hit a baseball with his foot! He even threw a soccer player at a ball to make a goal and layed the smackdown on a group of kids! You lived a long and prosperous life Segata Shansiro. You will be remembered.

Did you own a Sega Saturn? If so, what games do you remember playing the most? Don’t be afraid to share them.
