Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima is interested in making an “adventure game” with 5pb. And when Japan says “adventure game”, they mean “visual novel.”

“Yeah. Kojima said he would like to make an adventure game,” Chiyomaru Shikura, CEO of 5pb, said to 4gamer. “We are in the phase of ‘lets seclude ourselves in the mountains and work out the plot.’ At this time details have not been finalized.”
5pb publishes games Nitroplus titles such as Chaos;Head and Steins;Gate in Japan. While Kojima made a name for himself with Metal Gear Solid, he has worked on adventure style games in the past like Policenauts.
