Resident Evil 3 Mod Adds The Last of Us Part 2 Cast

the last of us part 2 resident evil 3 mod pack

After quite a bit of work, Darkness Valtier created a massive Resident Evil 3 mod pack that alters the entire cast of the game. Namely, once applied with FluffyQuack’s Fluffy Manager 5000, everyone from The Last of Us: Part 2 is there. The True Ending mod pack pulls together character replacements Darknessvaltier worked on, giving people a chance to play as and see characters like Ellie, Joel, Dina, and Abby.

Here’s what the full cast ends up looking like. The three playable characters end up being Ellie, Joel, and Dina when the mod is applied. Ellie and Dina are both connected to Jill Valentine costumes, while Joel is connected to Carlos Oliveira outfits.

  • Jill Valentine: Ellie in her Seattle outfit
  • Jill Valentine in her RPD outfit: Ellie in her winter outfit
  • Jill Valentine in her classic outfit: Dina
  • Carlos Oliveira: Joel
  • Carlos Oliveira in his classic outfit: Joel from The Last of Us
  • Nicholai Genovaef: Abby
  • Nemesis: Bloater enemy
  • Tyrell Patrick: Tommy
  • Mikhail Victor: Jesse

Darkness Valtier shared some videos showing how these The Last of Us: Part 2 Resident Evil 3 mods look. Here’s one with the Ellie, Joel, and Abby replacements in place.

Here’s an extended showcase, which looks at what it is like to be Ellie for almost three hours.

For those who would rather play as Abby, rather than see Nicholai replaced with her, Darkness Valtier has a mod for that too. There’s also a video to show how that looks in action.

Resident Evil 3 is available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The Last of Us: Part 2 is available for the PlayStation 4.
