Capcom opened a Resident Evil 30th anniversary website ahead of the big event in 2026, and it features key art of major characters with references to villains from their major entries. Six people are highlighted on the site in total. This also means an initial teaser for one of the major enemies in Resident Evil Requiem, as there’s a reference to it behind Grace Ashcroft. This image is the current focal point on the site, with the other messages acting as placeholders for next year.

From left to right, the six Resident Evil characters in the 30th anniversary artwork are Leon S Kennedy, Claire Redfield, Chris Redfield, Jill Valentine, Grace Ashcroft, and Ada Wong. Each one sits on a golden throne. Behind them are references to a type of Resdent Evil enemy. So behind Chris is a reference to Albert Wesker. A Licker shows up on Claire’s chair. We can see a reference to Nemesis behind Jill. The interesting element here is the creature behind Grace Ashcroft, as it seems to be an unknown enemy from Resident Evil Requiem. It features a full mouth of teeth and some white bindings or bandages around it.

Here’s the full piece of art:

As part of the gamescom 2025 kick-off, we did get to see the 2026 Resident Evil game again. A trailer appeared that showed some story segments and gameplay. Grace and her mother seemed to be at home when, after a strange call, the power goes out in the building. Her mom quickly tried to usher the two of them out, but it’s clear things are awry. The video left off on a cliffhanger.

Resident Evil Requiem will come to the PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC on February 27, 2026, and Capcom will celebrate the game series’ 30th anniversary in 2026.
