Resident Evil Remake Mod Brings Back The Cheesy 1996 Voice Acting

Recommended Videos

At last, it is here: a mod for the remake of Resident Evil on PC that replaces the new voice acting with the cheesy and offbeat voices of the 1996 original.

Why would anyone want this? The obvious reasons are the humor and the nostalgia. But there’s also possibly an argument that the terrible voice acting goes well with the B-movie plot and drama of Resident Evil. Something about it feels right.

Whatever reason you might have for wanting to restore the game’s original voice acting, you can download the mod from this forum thread.
