Capcom revealed an official release window for Resident Evil Re:Verse. This information came directly from the Capcom E3 2021 presentation, which featured new information on the Resident Evil series. Resident Evil Re:Verse will be available sometime in July 2021. A concrete release date has yet to be announced.
Resident Evil Re:Verse is a competitive multiplayer mode that pits players against one another. Players can select from popular characters like Jill Valentine, Leon S. Kennedy, and Hunk. The mode is strictly player versus player. Those who earn a large amount of kills can then turn into iconic monsters from the series. A total of four to six players can participate in a match at any given time. This mode will be available entirely for free to those who have purchased Resident Evil Village.
Previously, several beta tests were available to players. Those who signed up during a specific window would receive access to the Resident Evil Re:Verse beta. During this period, players could engage in the mentioned competitive multiplayer mode.
Resident Evil Re:Verse will release for the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and PC sometime in July 2021. This version will be available entirely for free to consumers who have purchased Resident Evil Village.
