Resident Evil Village Gold Edition

Resident Evil Village Gold Edition Playable Demo Launched

The playable demo for Resident Evil Village Gold Edition is now available on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. It lasts roughly 60 minutes and allows players to play in both first-person and the newly added third-person mode.

There’s more to the Gold Edition than that, though. In all the game, which includes the base game and the Winters’ Expansion DLC, adds three additional gameplay modes. Players can take advantage of the additional distance of Third-Person Mode for a more action game-like feel. Then the Mercenaries Additional Orders mode is a combat-oriented mode allowing players to play as Chris Redfield, Karl Heisenberg, and legendary tall person Lady Alcina Dimitrescu.

Core to the expansion, though, is “Shadows of Rose”, a new single-player story campaign featuring Ethan’s daughter, Rose. Check out the story trailer below.

Note: The story trailer may contain spoilers for the Resident Evil Village base game.

Resident Evil Village is readily available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Resident Evil Village Gold Edition launches on October 28, 2022, with a gameplay demo available now. Owners of Resident Evil Village can purchase the Winters’ Expansion DLC separately.
