As you might expect, that titular character refers to the person people will play as in the experience. It also seems like this Resident Evil Village PS5 trial will be more of an opportunity to experience the game’s castle and soak up its atmosphere, as it won’t involve fighting the supernatural creatures found in the new installment. Rather, you’ll get a chance to check out the castle Ethan Winters will be in during the full game.

As for the additional demo, we don’t know much about it. It will appear sometime in Spring 2021. It will also be different from the Resident Evil Village Maiden demo people can start now. Capcom’s announcement also said it will have 3D audio for systems that support it.

Resident Evil Village PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC copies will appear on May 7, 2021. Pre-orders are open, and people can get standard, digital deluxe, and collector’s editions. The Resident Evil Village PS5 demo is available now. Demos will appear for other systems in Spring 2021.
