About a day ahead of its debut, Tri-Ace announced an Enhanced Remaster DLC update for Resonance of Fate 4K/HD Edition. This will launch on October 29, 2026, though due to time zones some people might see it on October 28, 2026 on Steam. As a reminder, this version of the game first released in October 2018.

The new features in the Enhanced Remaster tend to involve Resonance of Fate looking and performing better on a PC. It now can get up to 120fps. There will also be upscaled textures and native 4K for this one. Originally, a high resolution texture pack was offered as a free add-on.

There is one change that does affect gameplay. If someone picks up this Resonance of Fate 4K/HD Edition Enhanced Remaster DLC, they can alter the speed of the game. The new option is 2x, to ensure battles go a bit faster when fighting with Zephyr, Vashryon, and Leanne.

Here are some of the new screenshots Tri-Ace shared showing what the Enhanced Remaster add-on can do for the game.

The Resonance of Fate 4K/HD Edition Enhanced Remaster DLC will come to the PC on October 29, 2026. That game also appeared on the PS4. The original JRPG showed up on the PS3 and Xbox 360.
