Usually I’m not too excited about baseball games, but Famista DS caught my attention. The blocky characters and arcade style probably means it’s perfect for playing on the train. There is a reward system in Famista DS too. You earn coins, which can be used to purchase new costumes like a samurai outfit and different stadiums. Check out the new video to see what I mean. Hmm… I wonder what cameo costumes Namco Bandai will add in Famista DS. Lloyd from Tales of Symphonia again? Nah, he’s already in too many places.
If Famista DS sells well in November I wouldn’t be surprised at all to see a Family Stadium baseball game on the Wii in the future too. Recently, Namco Bandai has been reviving their line up of easy to play family sports games. Family Trainer, Family Jockey and Family Ski are already in development.
