K2, the studio behind Valhalla Knights, did the development work on this 3D Samurai Shodown game. Twenty plus characters are in the roster and that number includes favorites such as Haohmaru and Hanzo Hattori.

The real news here is Rising Star Games, not Ignition Entertainment, will publish Samurai Shodown Sen game in PAL regions. Way before Ignition took over SNK distribution in North America, they were in charge of Europe. Looks like that deal is dead since Atlus USA snapped up Metal Slug XX and Rising Star Games grabbed Samurai Shodown: Edge of Destiny. As of now, the game still hasn’t been announced for North America.
