The music video for the Detective Pikachu theme song has been released. People can now watch Rita Ora’s “Carry On,” which is performed with the DJ Kygo. The almost four minute long video puts her in places that look similar to ones in the movie, like Detective Harry Goodman’s office, and also intersperses scenes from Detective Pikachu’s most important moments.

Most of the moments in the “Carry On” music video seem to highlight important plot points. We get to see Tim Goodman visit his father’s office with Pikachu for the first time. The two walk through a market together, while Pikachu tries to convince Tim to work with him. There are investigation scenes involving Mr. Mime and an Aipom. We also get to see the fight involving Pikachu, Charizard, and Gyarados, as well as one with Blastoise matched up against Gengar. We also get to see Tim, Pikachu, Lucy, and Psyduck trapped in what seems to be an earthquake caused by a pokemon.

You can see the Detective Pikachu music video below.

Pokemon: Detective Pikachu will appear in theaters on May 10, 2019. A graphic novel will be released in Summer 2019. The Nintendo 3DS game is immediately available.
