Rocketeer Eat Your Heart Out, Earth Defense Force 3 Has Jetpacks

A new EDF unit is flying into Earth Defense Force 3 Portable. The PlayStation Vita port of Earth Defense Force 2017 includes the female trooper with a jetpack from Earth Defense Force 2 as a playable character.

The jetpack fighter can fly for short bursts and blow up ants from the sky. Earth Defense Force 3 Portable also has the standard ground-only soldier and a bunch of vehicles like tanks to drive. New weapons in the game include a reverse drone that heals allied units and another gun that boosts vehicles. It’s almost like having a "white mage" class… for a bug blasting game.
