Kadokawa Games just released Rodea: The Sky Soldier in Japan today and the Western release isn’t too far behind. NIS America announced Rodea: The Sky Soldier will be available in North America on September 22 and Europe on September 25.
Originally developed for Wii, Rodea: The Sky Soldier switched platforms to Wii U and Nintendo 3DS. First print copies of Yuji Naka’s high flying acting game also include the Wii version as a bonus.
Rodea, the tailed robot and protagonist in the game, wakes up in the future when Ion repairs the abandoned robot. 1,000 years ago, Rodea and Princess Cecilia fought the Naga Empire to free Garuda. The world has been peaceful, but the Naga forces are beginning to rise and it’s up to Rodea to save the kingdom once again.
