Square Enix revealed that Romancing SaGa 2 is releasing for smartphone in Japan in March. They also mentioned that the PS Vita version’s release will be announced later, as they’re having trouble with it.
Since the PlayStation Vita build is currently slightly unstable, Square Enix will aim to make adjustments until the very last minute so they can make something that can satisfy fans. That said, a release date or window will have to wait a little longer for the PS Vita version of Romancing SaGa 2.
While retaining the looks from the original Super Famicom title, the new PlayStation Vita and smartphone version will revamp its character appearances, backgrounds, and battle graphics.
The game will be optimized for the new hardware, and will include the “Class” and “Original Dungeon” that were added in the 2010 mobile version of the game.
Romancing SaGa 2 will release in Japan in March 2016 for Android and iPhone. The PlayStation Vita version will release later.
