People will have to wait a bit longer for Romancing SaGa 3. The remaster of the classic RPG will not be arriving in early 2019, as originally planned. Akitoshi Kawazu, the SaGa series creator, noted on Twitter that the team is doing its best, but they would appreciate if fans would be patient for a little while longer.

The Romancing SaGa 3 delay was brought up during the Romancing SaGa Universe Official Live Broadcast #1. The SaGa Producer Masanori Ichikawa noted that the team wants to improve the quality of the remaster, which is why it has been pushed from early 2019 to an as yet unknown release window.

Romancing SaGa 3 is in development for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Xbox One, PC, and both Android and Apple iOS devices. As noted by Kawazu during a past tweet, a western release is planned.
