In RPG To Ash, You Level Down, Not Up

To Ash, an RPG about an aging, dying hero who loses his powers over the course of the game, is now available.

To Ash begins with the hero having all of his levels and powers intact. Over time and through combat, he loses his abilities and hit points by leveling down instead of up as players progress through the story. This makes for more strategic combat as players find ways to play with a hero who will only get weaker over time.

To Ash has an Adventure mode available as well for players who want to experience the story without combat. It is currently available for $5 on the developer’s website, and is seeking votes on Steam Greenlight for a Steam release.
