Japanese gamers will get a first taste of Freedom Wars when Soul Sacrifice Delta comes out on March 6. Sony Computer Entertainment Japan Asia’s highly anticipated multiplayer co-op is scheduled to come out this summer and according to recent rumors, it appears as though the game might be released in early summer, according to Game Jouhou.

The rumor comes from a Japanese book distributor called mangaoh,  after having listed a strategy guide for Freedom Wars on June 12th, 2014, which also happens to land on a Thursday, the day games are typically released in Japan.

Additionally, the website has marked the publisher of the book to be Shueisha, the same company that publishes Weekly Shonen Jump and other video game strategy guides. Shueisha’s game guides are also often released simultaneously as the game. Even if the game doesn’t release on the same day as its guide book, if the date is accurate, then we can expect it to be around the same time.

While no dates is set in stone at the moment, SCEJA previously announced that Freedom Wars will be released sometime in summer 2014.
