Rune Factory 3 Special Kuruna Romance Guide

Kuruna is one of the more challenging bachelorettes to romance in Rune Factory 3 Special. This is because a lot of it involves endgame activities. You can’t even meet her until you get the ability to visit Univir, so it takes a lot of patience (and recipes with chocolate in them) to win her heart.

Where do you find Kuruna in Rune Factory 3 Special?

So you won’t get to meet Kuruna right away, as this Rune Factory 3 bachelorette lives in the Univir Settlement. You’ll only find this in Sol Terrano. This also means only visiting in Micah’s Wooly form. Though after the Unity Festival, which you can set up once you defeat the bosses in the game’s four locations, you can enter the village as yourself.

As for a date with Kuruna, you should take her to Sol Terrano’s Star Dunes. It’s the place she likes best.

What gifts should you give Kuruna in Rune Factory 3 Special

Actually winning over Kuruna can be a little difficult. This is because this heroine really only likes dessert items. So you’ll need to at the very least make cake via getting a medium or large milk, butter, flour, Pink Cat flower, and strawberry and combining it in your oven.

The things she likes best all involve chocolate. The easiest gift she loves is hot chocolate, which involves putting chocolate in a pot. You could also make a chocolate cake, which involves medium or large milk, butter, chocolate, and flour. You could also make chocolate cookies, but that involves butter, chocolate, and a cookie in the oven. But then you also need to make a cookie with flour and any size milk in the oven first.

As a last resort… fruits are okay? You can get apples easily from Privera Forest’s trees. You could also grow some strawberries.

How to trigger heart events with Kuruna in Rune Factory 3 Special

Okay. So. Since Kuruna lives with the monsters, she’s the only Rune Factory 3 Special bachelorette who doesn’t use the bulletin board for requests. Instead, you need to go to the Univir Settlement and check in with its owl to get her first four requests. After the Unity Festival is held, her fifth through ninth requests will come to your mailbox.

Here’s the list of requests connected to heart events for Kuruna:

  • 1 Heart: Owl request. Kuruna wants a Masu Trout, a Pike, and a Pond Smelt. The Masu Trout can only be caught during Spring or at Privera, Pikes are found in Fall or at Oddward, and Pond Smelts show up in Winter or at Vale River.
  • 2 Hearts: Owl request. You’ll talk to Kuruna and she’ll ask you to live in Univir.
  • 3 Hearts: Owl request. Go to Sol Terrano’s Star Dunes with Kuruna.
  • 4 Hearts: Owl request. Put a yam in your oven to make a roasted yam, then bring it to her.
  • 5 Hearts: Mailbox request. Bring Kuruna to Wells. You can only get this request after the Unity Festival is over.
  • 6 Hearts: Mailbox request. Go with Kuruna to Privera’s Flower Field.
  • 7 Hearts: Mailbox request. Use your oven to make a chocolate cookie, then give it to her. (I detailed the recipe above in the “gift” section.
  • 8 Hearts: Mailbox request. You’ll need to talk to Kuruna, then go talk to Ondorus. After that, you’ll meet with Kuruna again.
  • 9 Hearts: Mailbox request. Go with Kuruna to Sharance Tree.

Rune Factory 3 Special is available on the Nintendo Switch and PC.
