Don Quijote announced on social media that it will sell Sadako Bath Ball bath bombs featuring figures of the character from The Ring. They will start to appear on August 15, 2025. It also shared a list of 340 confirmed stores in Japan that will carry them. The price wasn’t mentioned, however. It also seems they won’t be sold outside of Japan.
The Sadako Bath Ball will be similar to other types of novelty bath bombs sold in Japan, and you’ll actually need to use it to get The Ring figure inside. Each one will be sold inside a small bag with Sadako on the front. Opening it gets you a blue bath bomb. Placing that in a tub to use will eventually reveal one of six figures as it dissolves.
The first photo revealed five of the six figure designs. Each one will need to be assembled, as shown in the teaser. One features Sadako standing in front of a person. The other four all seem to be designed to hang or display as though she is climbing, hanging, leaning, or dangling from a glass or shelf.

While Sadako is a horror icon from The Ring series, she’s also become something of a general mascot or icon in Japan. So much so that we’ve even seen figures of her like a Nendoroid and Bishoujo statue.
Sadako Bath Ball bath bombs with The Ring figures inside will show up in Don Quijote stores in Japan starting on August 15, 2025.
