SaGa: Scarlet Grace Details New Elements And Voice Cast For The Upcoming Port

Recommended Videos

Square Enix shared details including new elements and voice cast for the PS4, Switch, PC, and smartphone version of SaGa: Scarlet Grace in this week’s issue of Famitsu magazine. [Thanks, Ryokutya2089.]

In the game, there’s a survey for players who played the original version on PS Vita that you can take before starting the new game. This allows you to check off any protagonists that you’ve cleared in the original game, so  that the events that require their story completion will activate in the new playthrough.

The next bit of new info mentions something called the “Investigation Hut.” Here you can work together with a woman who goes around the world to collect rare items.

The magazine has details on what gets carried over in new playthroughs after clearing once. Things that automatically get carried over from the first time and beyond include information on protagonist clears, the number of times cleared, tips, enemy names, and the names of techniques and arts learned.

From your second time (for your third playthrough) you’ll get all the techniques, arts, rank, acquired roles, formations, graces, and  industrial development progress. Lastly, if you clear the stories of all four protagonists and start a new game the carry-over content include materials, equipment, and blacksmith rank.

Several town facilities were also revealed with the Trade Shop, Agency, Place Space for poets, and Plaza Space for a theater.

Here are the new voice cast:

  • Mondo (CV: Masafumi Kimura)
  • Maximilius (CV: Tsuyoshi Aoki)
  • Antonius (CV: Shohei Sakaguchi)
  • Elised (CV: Shizuka Ito)
  • Irene (CV: Urara Takano)
  • Eidil (CV: Satoshi Hino)
  • Griffin (CV: Hironori Kondo)
  • Lawson (CV: Naomi Kusumi)

SaGa: Scarlet Grace is available on PlayStation Vita in Japan. It’ll release on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, PC, iOS, and Android on August 2, 2018 in Japan. An English version is in the works.  Check more on the updated version with a new trailer and the latest info in our previous report.
