Gag-manga series Saiki Kusuo no Psi-nan is getting a 3DS game and Bandai Namco shared its first trailer, which features plenty of Saiki K-style comedy.

The video starts out with Kusuo Saiki saying he wonders what kind of game it’ll be since it’s made by Bandai Namco. Riki Nendo imagines that it will be some sort of rhythm game in the style of the Taiko no Tatsujin series, but Kusuo says that children as well as adults would cry seeing Nendo’s head in a rhythm game like that.

Shun Kaido thinks it’ll be something like Tales of Berseria, but Kusuo tells him to stop trying to jump onto the major RPG’s bandwagon like that. Kokomi Teruhashi says that fans across the country would definitely want something in the style of a love sim, but Kusuo tells her that she’s the only one that would want a game like that.

Could it possibly be a game that has to do with saving the world from destruction? Kusuo says that such as a “something-mageddon” situation from a major work would never… er, that was actually it.

So basically, you’ll get to use protagonist Kusuo Saiki’s powers such as being able to see through physical objects, Psychokinesis to move objects, or Telepathy to read the thoughts deep in the hearts of others. You can see more on how it is played in our earlier report.

Saiki Kusuo no Psi-nan: Shijou Psi Dai no Psi-nan? will release in Japan in 2016 for Nintendo 3DS.
