Sakura Sakura Localization Funded Via Kickstarter

Sol Press is going to be localizing and releasing HiqoSoft’s Sakura Sakura outside of Japan. A Kickstarter was launched to help fund the project on August 15, 2017, asking for $24,000. Since then, $28,810 was raised by 584 people.

 

In Sakura Sakura, players get to play through two love triangles. The first involves Tohru Inaba, a man in love with two girls named Sakura. After coming to Rintoku Academy, Nanako Sakura, his dorm manager and a teacher, and Sakura Kirishima, the class representative. The other story follows Naoki Fuse, Tohru’s friend, and his relationships with his childhood friend, Akira Nitta, and online friend, Kurumi Tachibana. The Steam release and physical version will be all-ages.

 

Sakura Sakura is expected to be released on PCs in December 2017. It originally released in Japan in 2009.
