It’s a big day for Sakura Wars news. Some of it has to do with what people can get when they buy the game, while others show off some of its elements. For example, the Launch Edition includes a set of costumes for the main cast to wear. There is a Digital Deluxe Edition on the way with even more outfits, as well as a standard PlayStation 4 release with a dynamic theme and Neko Ears Add-on Bundle. To top it all off, there’s a look at the potential Sakura Wars romances with a new trailer and screenshots focusing on the LIPS dialogue system.

To start, the Sakura Wars preorder gives potential Launch Edition owners new looks. Seijuro, Sakura, Anastasia, Azami, Claris, Hatsuho all get performance outfits in a Theater Costume bundle. This cosmetic DLC joins the physical sticker set and reversible cover.

Sakura Wars Digital Deluxe Edition

There will also be a Sakura Wars Digital Deluxe Edition. While it includes the normal digital version’s Imperial Combat Revue Dynamic Theme and Neko Ears accessories that gives the cast cat ears, it also provides people with three more add-on bundles. One is a Charming Accessories Add-on Bundle, which gives everyone in the party optional angel halos with wings, dog tails, and glasses to wear. While the Legacy of Love Add-on Bundle might sound like it is alluding to Sakura Wars romances, it really honors the first four games with different outfits and songs based on the original Imperial Combat Revue, Paris Combat Revue, and New York Combat Revue. There is also a Swimsuit DLC Bundle that gives all six main characters swimwear.

You can get a better look at all of the Sakura Wars costumes and accessories included in the Digital Deluxe Edition below.

In addition to all the outfits, new looks at the Sakura Wars relationship elements have appeared. There’s a trailer showing how Seijuro will be able to connect with the other members of the Imperial Combat Revue. Some additional screenshots also offer a look at the LIPS System that will help you say the right things.

Sakura Wars will come to the PlayStation 4 outside of Japan on April 28, 2020. It is immediately available on the system in Japan. Its last trailer went over its story.
