Samba de Amigo Party Central

Samba de Amigo: Party Central was announced for the Switch during the February 8, 2023, Nintendo Direct. This is the first Samba de Amigo game in 16 years, since the Wii version of the original Dreamcast game released in 2008. Samba de Amigo: Party Central is coming out sometime in Summer 2023.

Samba de Amigo: Party Central is a new sequel to the original Samba de Amigo rhythm game, released originally for Japanese Arcade cabinets in 1999, and worldwide for Sega’s Dreamcast in 2000. The original entry had a second version, titled Samba de Amigo Ver. 2000, which also released for Dreamcast and Arcade cabinets exclusively in Japan. A new version of Ver. 2000 would eventually release on Wii in 2008, using the Wii Remote and Nunchuk to simulate the maracas.
