If you’re lucky enough to have IFC (the Independant Film Channel) check it out this March when Samurai 7 joins the Samurai Saturday lineup. Samurai 7 is based on Akira Kurosawa’s movie The Seven Samurai, which gave it a huge amount of hype in Japan. Funimation who localized Dragonball Z and Fullmetal Alchemist picked it up for American distribution. Check out the Samurai 7 website for more on the series.
