This weekā€™s Famitsu magazine confirms that Matsunaga Hisahide, who previously made brief appearances in Samurai Warriors: state of War and Samurai Warriors 2, will be returning in Tecmo Koeiā€™s Samurai Warriors 4.

While it hasnā€™t been revealed as to how heā€™ll be fighting, Matsunaga Hisahide fought as a Fire Ninja bodyguard in Samurai Warriors 2, who used bombs as his weapon of choice, so we might be seeing something similar.

The theme of Samurai Warriors 4 will be about telling the history of the eraā€™s unification during the late stages of Japanā€™s Sengoku period, which takes place across the nation, and will go on until the end of the Sengoku period.

Famitsu also reports that in Story Mode, youā€™ll be selecting different districts, which will tell the stories featuring big names such as Oda Nobunaga and Takeda Shingen.

Samurai Warriors 4 will be released for PlayStation 3 and Vita on March 20, 2014, in Japan.
