Tecmo Koei is working on a sequel to the Nintendo 3DS launch title Samurai Warriors: Chronicles. Samurai Warriors: Chronicles 2nd adds new generals Todo Takitora and Yagyu Munenori.

The main mode is a branching scenario with multiple endings. Players can see a flow chart, which shows the different paths. Samurai Warriors: Chronicles 2nd also has a mission clearing mode, which you can play solo or with friends. Tecmo Koei added online rankings so players can compare their performance to other players.
Samurai Warriors: Chronicles 2nd is slated for release on September 13.
