Sanrio Characters Picross Coming To The Nintendo 3DS In Japan

Jupiter’s next nonogram game has been announced, and it is not a Picross e or Picross S title. Rather, Sanrio Characters Picross is coming to the Nintendo 3DS in Japan on April 25, 2018. For Â¥700 (~$6.50), people can  (Thanks, Japanese Nintendo!)

 

Sanrio Characters Picross has a rather interesting twist to it. When you complete a puzzle of an iconic character, you get stickers featuring that character and other accessories. These can then be applied to a background to make different scenes. It is even possible to save these screens as an in-game background.

 

As for puzzles, it looks like Sanrio Characters features a few Jupiter Picross fans will be familiar with. There is the standard sort, and the trailer shows Micross ones too.

Sanrio Characters Picross will come to the Nintendo 3DS in Japan on April 25, 2018. A worldwide release has yet to be announced.
