The Hello Kitty Suika Game collaboration will return for another year in Japan. There will be related toys to get in the Happy Meals, and you can also download a version of the game that transforms certain fruits into Sanrio mascots instead. [Thanks, PR Times!]
The Hello Kitty and Suika Game collaboration campaign at McDonald’s will run from April 10 to May 24, 2026. When you buy a Happy Meal and take out your toy, you can scan a QR code on the package that takes you to the game. As per usual, the campaign is split up into sections, with some in-game characters or real-life toys only available after a certain start date.
- April 10 – April 23: Kuromi, Little Twin Stars, Pompompurin, Hello Kitty
- April 24 – May 7: Cinnamoroll, Pochacco, My Melody, Cogimyun, Secret Character
- May 8 – May 24: All characters

During the second part of the campaign, you’ll also be able to choose the in-game character that drops the fruit. As a note, the line-up of available toys will also change depending on when you go to McDonald’s. While the toys are all of Sanrio mascots, none of them are fruit-themed.
This collaboration first appeared at McDonald’s in July 2025. Back then, the application and toys were specifically summer-themed. The fruits changed to traditional summer items like lanterns and beach balls, and Hello Kitty was the only Sanrio mascot featured.
